College Readiness Forum (Free)

How do I apply for college? Where do I get help with FAFSA? Is there a single website that lists scholarship opportunities? Oh my God!, the Common App is overwhelming. Where do I start? How much money will my student get from TOPS? Am I expected to fund a portion of my student's education?

About the event

Heading to College?

How do I apply for college? Where do I get help with FAFSA? Is there a single website that lists scholarship opportunities? Oh my God!, the Common App is overwhelming. Where do I start? How much money will my student get from TOPS? Am I expected to fund a portion of my student's education? What ACT score do I need to get into the college of my choice; should I retake the test?

These questions represent a small portion of questions we receive regarding college readiness and the admissions process. To ensure that every student and parent in our community have pertinent information required to navigate the college admission process, we are hosting a two-hour College Readiness Forum on December 23, 2019: 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

Who should attend?

High school students and parents preparing and/or navigating college admission.

Why are we hosting this forum?

The information we will share was extremely valuable to us when we were preparing to send our son to college. If you are having trouble navigating the process, you don't want to miss this event. We will point you in the right direction.

Cost:

FREE, but registration is required.
